Knitting Circles & Generosity Updates

Generosity and Creativity

As of January 14,  an unknown number of nimble-fingered, warm-hearted anonymous volunteers have created 375 beautiful new ‘Hats & Scarves’ for this project this winter!

From mittens and baby items to shawls and earwarmers to  gorgeous scarves and sturdy  hats, the items being donated are just wonderful!  And much appreciated by the recipients and groups who are receiving them.  From beginner pieces to amazing creative designs, it’s really awesome to see the attention, energy,  and care people are putting into this project.

Two  Knitting Circles this week at 7 Corners New Seasons for this project:
Wed., Jan 20, 7-9 pm
Sat., Jan. 23, 2-4 pm

New Seasons at SE 19th/Division.

We’ll be in the Community Dining Room at Seven Corners. Christina Schull is coordinating, and we’ll have lots of yarn there if you need more. Christina can help you get started if you’re new to knitting, and of course crochet-ers are welcome too.

Please keep up the amazing work!  We’ll keep collecting items through the first week of February.  Our goal is to get close to 500 items created this season, and it looks like we’ll make it.
